Another instalment from the Torres del Paine stay - here we walked up to the base of the Torres, unfortunately a bit too cloudy to see the tops, but still very impressive. The lake is very atmospheric, a dead green colour, then fantastic sheer cliffs at the back leading up to the Torres - weirdly silent and still. The lenga forests all the way up were just turning to beautiful autumn colours, and there were plenty of birds, sadly no pumas though!

The final shot from the Park: this was the scene at 7.15am with a puncture and no-one able to work out how the spare tyre came down from the underside of the Ford van - this included the driver! Luckily another driver came by and through a policy of ignoring the instructions and brute force he managed to get the spare out. Joy. I went back to sleep.
