Far more importantly, Scissor Sisters (who entirely
scrapped their third album and had a 2 month hiatus during which Jake Shears went off to get his sexy back doing drugs on Berlin dancefloors) have a
new album coming out!! I know!! So even if the election proves to be a total fuck-up and the pound falls through the floor we will still have brilliant tunes to dance to this summer, much-needed after what quite frankly was a slightly disappointing offering from normally-reliable
Goldfrapp. The new album is called "Night Work" and is out 28th June. Shears thinks it captures the hedonism/tragedy of the 80s. Sounds great guys! And as for the cover, well, it's got me interested:
